Our Mission & Bylaws

Established in 2016,  our organization is dedicated to raising awareness of the maritime heritage of Whidbey Island, Coupeville, and Penn Cove. We achieve this through the education, promotion and preservation of local maritime traditions.

The WIMHF Bylaws were adopted on 20 June 2024 and a revision to the Term of Office was rectified on 15 January 2026 by the Board of Directors.

WHIMHF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
